LCH Alumni Entrepreneurship Fund

Children who have completed their education through Lulwanda's education programs may desire to start their own business in Uganda as good paying jobs in their economny are hard to find. GICF and Lulwanda leadership are providing to these children a training program to instill good business skills so that ventures the children may wish to undertake have a reasonable chance at success. Once a child has completed the financial and business training program, these trained children will be looking for "seed money" to startup a new business. This fund is being established to create a pool of funds that can be made available to such children.

Elgibility for such funds requires the following:

Complete a financial/business training program as described above
Remain in good standing with LCH/Tendo program requirements
Alumni must develop a proper business plan with capital costs, operating costs, and realistic income
Alumni must personally strive to raise funds through working a job. GICF will assist promising startups with donor-designated funds
Alumni must report to LCH leadership every quarter on the profit/loss of their business

Donations to the Entrepeneurship Fund will be targeted for this specific benefit to the children of Lulwanda.
